Getting to Sydostleden

The Sydostleden Trail starts/ends in the districts of Växjö and Simrishamn. Both cities offer a good variety of restaurants and accommodation in all categories, with everything from memorable dining experiences to cosy bed and breakfasts. You will also find good bus and train connections to and from anywhere in Sweden.

From Simrishamn, you can take the Pågatåg train west toward Malmö.

From Stockholm, you get to the Sydostleden Trail with SJ, the government-owned passenger train operator in Sweden. Please note that local train tickets are not valid on SJ’s train lines and vice versa. Bicycles are not permitted on SJ trains. For more information on SJ, go to their website.
